And all my days are trances, And all my nightly dreams Are where thy grey eye glances, And where thy footstep gleams-- In what ethereal dances, By what eternal streams. ~EDGAR ALLAN POE, To One in Paradise
I have volumes of Dream Diaries since High School. And with complete units of graduate studies in Developmental Psychology, I became even more interested. Knowing one's dreams is a stepping stone to unlocking the subconscious, especially if you cross-validate it with current events in your life, your feelings, the happenings around you. I believe more in the psychological side than the paranormal (interpreting the signs and symbols), but these two work well together. I don't want to discredit the universal dream symbols (nor the paranormal because it can happen too), but I highly believe that each person's dream is relative, and highly personal in meaning. It depends on what is going on in your life, inside and out. Suffice it to say, I'm Freudian and Jungian. but most of the time, I'm just me. These are my dreams and how I get to know myself deeper, for the world to witness, in my own terms.
